Ratzmataz is a rock & roll trio that’s coming from Italy. They were formed in 2006 and after some hard work and several live gigs they recorded their demo/EP which was distributed to the audience for free during their live shows in 2008. After that, a new bassist, Alberto Bianchi, joined them and they started giving live shows and preparing their debut album.

The guys are influenced by the 70s/80s classic rock, rock & roll & hard rock music era… and from bands like: Deep Purple, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Bad Company, Free, Motley Crue, Guns & Roses, Led Zeppelin and the rest. They totally love this kind of music and that’s obvious when you listen to their tunes. The album has its moments, “Global Revolution”, “Go to Gay Pride”, “Her Love is Stronger than my Pain” & “Too Late”… but they surely need more time and more personality/originality so as to present something truly mature and strong. Nevertheless, this is just their debut album… so they’ve definitely got a long way to go. The production is a bit raw and not as powerful as I wanted it to be… but that’s something they can take care of in the future. It’s clear that bands like this one… are better to watch on stage… so do not miss them if they play near you and you wanna have some rock & roll fun…
