Norwegian Blackjazz band Shining have announced a headline European tour, set to take place in Oct/Nov this year.
These shows follow the band’s recent concert on a narrow Norwegian mountain ledge 700 metres above the ground – a world first.
The band had a PA system and power generator flown up to the ledge, where they proceeded to blast out their patented Blackjazz music to a group of 300 fans and mountain hikers who had made the daunting five hour trip to the ‘Troll’s Tongue’ summit.
Although fans cannot expect the same rush experienced by those present on a jutting out-crop in the middle of nowhere, what can be expected is a truly masterful and enthralling live show, along with the increased probability of making it home in one piece (although we won’t make any promises!)..
