UK based progressive/alt.rock combo Atlas : Empire are glad to announce that they have signed a deal with WormHoleDeath for the reissue of their album “The Stratosphere Beneath Our Feet”.
Steven Gillies (vocals & guitar) says:
“We are very excited to be working with WormHoleDeath and are looking forward to Carlo and his team developing and building on everything we’ve achieved as an independent band. In the current musical climate, it’s amazing to know we have a label who believes in the art we create - starting with the re-release of "The Stratosphere Beneath Our Feet", then supporting us through the entire process for our second album”.
“The Stratosphere Beneath Our Feet” will be out on October 25th, 2019, via Wormholedeath / The Orchard / Wormholedeath USA.
Atlas : Empire have also released a video for the track “Our Hands Part the Waves”, which you can view below.
Bassist Robert Hasebe comments:
“This video is the natural follow up to the cliff hanger in the video for "It’s All In The Reflexes". We want our viewers to know that this saga is not over. The question we asked ourselves was "what comes next?". The answer was obvious. We have to dispose of the body. So, we did the natural thing. We stuffed the dismembered body in a suitcase and threw it off the scenic cliffs of Arbroath”.
Atlas : Empire have announced two tours in the coming months! In October the band will return to Canada for the 4th time and in November, they will hit the road with the wonderful Last Hyena on a long-overdue run of UK dates. See all dates below.

Atlas : Empire are a progressive alternative rock band, based in Glasgow, UK. Since forming in 2011, Atlas : Empire have enjoyed success both through their recordings and over several tours crossing the UK, the EU and Eastern Canada, including performing at Indieweek in Toronto.
To date the band has released 3 EPs, “To the Astronaut…” (2012); “Somnus” (2013) and “For the Satellites” (2015) with “The Stratosphere Beneath Our Feet”, an ambitious concept album set to be released in 2018. Weaving their way between the multitudes of different genres that influence them, Atlas : Empire visits the worlds of heavy progressive rock and expansive ambient shoegaze. Exploring topics that centralize around the concept of becoming exponentially more reliant on technology and less “connected” by proxy, and the future of modern society when the system we rely on fails. With a slew of songs written and plans already for a fifth release, Atlas : Empire are thrilled to be working with the team at WormHoleDeath and to push their own boundaries and expand into new territories.
