The remaining days bands on that stage will be chosen from the winners of 2021’s Metal 2 The Masses finals, set to happen in July. 
 

Destruction to release new live album “Live Attack” on August 13th 2021

Legendary German thrash metal powerhouse Destruction cements its signing with Napalm Records by smashing an all devastating, neck-breaking “Live Attack” onto the masses! The BluRay/CD live event, including some pre- and after-show bonus content, will be released on August 13th, 2021.

It follows their latest record, “Born to Perish” (#26 GER album charts), recalling a nearly two hour live stream attack the heavy steamroller unleashed in January this year.

Space Chaser to release new studio album “Give Us Life” on July 16th 2021

On July 16th, 2021, Berlin’s Space Chaser will release their new album, “Give Us Life”, via Metal Blade Records.

Megadeth part ways with bassist and co-founder David Ellefson

Megadeth have official parted ways (once again) with bassist and co-founder David Ellefson, after he was accused of sexual misconduct. The whole thing came out on May 10th, 2021, and it has taken too much publicity till now, even though the accusations were denied from both parties.

David has also parted ways with Megadeth back in 2002, after a serious incident that he and Mustaine had due to royalties and copyright issues.

Sodom to release new EP “Bombenhagel” on August 20th 2021

Following yet more official appreciation, as acknowledged by the presentation of the German Record Critics’ Award, for their current album “Genesis XIX” (having garnered the prize once before with its predecessor “Decision Day” in 2016) and prior to their upcoming 40th band anniversary next year, Sodom have rarely been as energetic as in spring 2021. 

Oceanhoarse to release debut full-length album “Dead Reckoning” on August 20th 2021

Helsinki-based Heavy Fucking Metal (patent pending!) group Oceanhoarse have released their new single “Reaching Skywards” today, taken from their upcoming debut full-length album “Dead Reckoning”, which will be released on August 20th, 2021, via Noble Demon.

With its in-your-face metal riffing, 90s style psychedelia and astral beauty of the chorus, this is quite possibly the most versatile Oceanhoarse song to date.
 

Nothing Sacred to release new studio album “No Gods” on July 16th 2021

One of the earliest Australian bands to play thrash/speed metal, Nothing Sacred was conceived in Melbourne, Australia in 1983. Unleashing their debut EP “Deathwish” in early 1985, launching the band as one of the most sought-after pit makers with the record’s title track becoming a classic within the Australian metal scene.

Megadeth and Lamb Of God reschedule 2020 North American Tour to Summer & Fall 2021
