Poison

Poison is one of the best sleaze/glam/poser hard rock metal bands on the planet! Now they are back in the 00s to continue offering us their great party-metal music! Poison recorded “Hollyweird”, with the original line up they always had, and they seem to have the same power and fun they had in the 80s. Nothing is missing from “Hollyweird”, which in my opinion, has various elements from the band’s glory days.
They are still writing incredible songs for beautiful-hot women, party-orgies and in general about their way of living. Songs like: “Wasteland”, “Shooting Star”, “Devil Woman” (which starts with harmonica), and the cathcy “Home” (both Bret’s & C.C.’s stories are very interesting), are already Poison’s classics and they can easily be placed among the band’s top moments. Bret Michaels sings with a lot of passion, like he wants to get all those wasted years back and CC DeVille rocks hard! It’s not that the other two guys are less passionate or what… Probably the production is not as heavy & full as it should be but that won’t mind you a lot as soon as you start singing the band’s new “sexy” rock & roll hymns along…
All of you out there who love beautiful women, metal music and dirty lyrics about human relations and all other kinds of stuff, better listen to the new exciting album from Poison! The lads from Hollywood are back and they do what they always did! Do not miss this album if you fancy this kind of music. Let’s just hope that it won’t take ‘em a decade to release a new album again…
