Righty… this is a weird little band with mostly NY musicians some of whom have quite a pedigree and history in the music scenes, some in classic metal bands, while others in punk rock ones. The whole band came together when Randy Pratt (The Lizards), a pretty good funky bassist, got together people as diverse as Johnny Thunder’s Heartbreakers’ Walter Lure (who’s also an uncredited player in 4 Ramones albums), The Planets’ long time guitarist, Binky Philips, and drumming heavyweight Bobby Rondinelli (Black Sabbath, BOC and others) in the same band. It took em a few years to come up with something but the resulting album, a wild in vibe album of proto metal with punk ethos, which blends some decent rhythms with some ‘Real Deal’ CBGB/Max’s Kansas City guitars and singing, works to perfection and feels totally genuine…

And the songs are brilliant too… with a vibe that mixes stuff like Thunders, Ramones, The Pistols, Chequered Past, The Rolling Stones, Hanoi Rocks, you get a kick in the teeth, tracks that are immediate and in your face, but a little bit more honed… I really don’t want to go and say “Excuse Me” is a hit, while some other song isn’t, because the whole album is so friggin excellent that you’re quite likely to enjoy it all in one sit, without skipping tracks… as it pretty much covers all tempos and moods without overstaying it’s welcome…

Pretty worth getting into if you’re into some serious rock n roll!

PS: This is just a one off CD - (no track, no rating, no nothing)... cool
