Australian pop sensibilities combined with modern progressive heaviness – the cult force that is Voyager are back with their 6th album, entitled “Ghost Mile”.
The band have just released the video single “Ascension”, directed by Adrian Goleby, which can be viewed below.
Danny Estrin (vocals) says this about the new single: “"Ascension" sets the mood for Voyager's the new album – clean and polished yet raw and organic, progressive yet catchy, modern yet quintessentially Voyager. The song is upliftingly melancholic and plays with major and minor keys to give a sense of unease and the constant struggle of trying to achieving the trivial, yet seemingly impossible”.
Voyager have also announced their “Ghost Mile” album Australian headline tour in May 2017 via Beardfoot bookings, with French Djent/Prog/Dubstep maestros The Algorithm in support! This awesome package will be crushing riffs and blowing minds all over the country throughout May.
