In case you missed the news, the Swedish band Diamond Dawn transformed into Streamline a few months ago and also presented their new singer Gabriel Lindmark.
We caught up with Streamline’s guitarist Olle Lindahl recently and talked about the band’s new vocalist and their future plans. You can read the whole interview here.
On April 26th the band made an anticipated debut appearance at Gothenburg Rockfest where Gabriel officially did the lead vocals as a "stand-in" type of thing.
The members of Streamline leaves the following comment about the situation: “Playing together feels great! Gabriel is a fantastic singer and we're really having a good time together. Therefore we offered him the spot and we're very happy he said yes”.
Streamline (Diamond Dawn) released their debut “Overdrive” on Frontiers Records in 2013. Since 2011 when the band first appeared on the swedish club scene and in the contest Metro OnStage, this swedish rock hope has gotten a lot of attention for their energetic and competent live shows. After touring throughout 2013, supporting Lita Ford and Hardcore Superstar among others, the band parted with their previous singer. In early 2014 the band made it official that they had changed the name to Streamline.
Now that the band is complete they're planning for a follow-up to the success of “Overdrive” and more touring.
