Heavy Leather Promotions proudly presents Roadkill #18, your monthly dose of Grindhouse Grooves, Leather Clad Licks and Roadhouse Rock.
“London’s best and only 100% pure garage night” – Time Out London
With headliners Saint Agnes
We're happy to announce that the blues rock powerhouse that is Saint Agnes will be starring at our 18th ROADKILL. These Heavy Leather favourites merge cinematic, western soundscapes, classic hard rock riffs and incredible duel vocals. Featuring members of Lola Colt and The Lost Souls Club, Saint Agnes perform with roaring energy, sizzling chemistry and masterful musicianship that'll blow you away.
With support from The Venus Lyx
Garage upstarts The Venus Lyx infuse anthemic punk songwriting with classic blues riffs. Rockabilly swagger collides head on with dive bar blues in a low-fi dirge inspired by the likes of Nick Cave, The Amazing Snakeheads and The Wytches.
With special guests Sunlight Service Group
These guys merge the blues with beautiful transcendental psych, dreamy cinematic soundscapes with a touch of doom. Put Black Sabbath and The Doors in a Mexican jail cell together, and hotbox the hell out of it: Sunlight Service Group. Heavy Petal.
With very special guest DJ sets from Raw Meat.
Roadkill is one of London’s leading garage nights showcasing the best in 60s revival, psych, surf, punk and dirty rock n’ roll. The monthly night hosts three bands and guest DJs spinning vinyl classics ‘till late.
Heavy Leather Promotions has been running live music and club nights in and around North London for the last 3 years to an ever growing fan base, and more recently at the beautiful basement venue of Aces & Eights Saloon Bar, Tufnell Park.
