Monster Magnet to release new covers album “A Better Dystopia” on May 21st 2021

When psychedelic rock icons Monster Magnet got off the plane in the USA after their Powertrip tour of Europe in February 2020, they already realized that they’d dodged a bullet. The band members were all healthy, despite having spent the last week of the month-long excursion gigging overseas, and at that point, many of those countries were in total lockdown. Part two of that tour, North America, was scheduled to begin three weeks later, but the rest is history… no live music, anywhere.

Avatarium to stream concert film “An Evening With Avatarium - Live in Stockholm” on August 28th 2020

Swedish doom metallers Avatarium have announced their concert movie “An Evening With Avatarium - Live in Stockholm”, which will be available on August 28th, 2020. Recorded at their live show in Stockholm this January, the show was filmed by five cameras at the legendary concert venue Nalen, and gives fans the chance to experience Avatarium’s live power despite the COVID-19 crisis.

Goldray to release new studio album “Feel the Change” on July 31st 2020

UK psycho rock-duo Goldray from Kenwyn House, guitarist of 90s rock giants Reef, who released their critically acclaimed debut album, “Rising” in 2017, are back with a double a-side single release and music video for the epic “How Do You Know” and the thunderous “Oz”. Avatarium - The Fire I Long For

Avatarium are a side project of Candlemass mastermind, Leif Edling, who pretty much took a life of their own after their debut was met with a fair bit of success. The albums that followed up still featured Edling, but his involvement was more limited, due to his battle with exhaustion, after years on the road that manifested psychosomatically. He didn’t tour with the band however; in fact he didn’t even tour with Candlemass during that time.

Avatarium launch lyric video video for “Lay Me Down”

Swedish doom metallers Avatarium release their highly-praised new dark gospel “The Fire I Long For” today via Nuclear Blast.

To mark the occasion, the band has unveiled an official lyric video for the song “Lay Me Down”, which features guest appearances by Leif Sundin (backing vocals) and Michael Blair (percussion).
