Riverside, the well-known atmospheric prog rock band from Poland, announced yesterday (February 21st, 2016) that their guitarist Piotr Grudziński has passed away. Piotr was 40 years old.
The band stated on their official FB page:
“In our deepest pain and disbelief we would like to inform you that our dearest friend and brother Piotr Grudzinski has passed away this morning. We kindly ask you to respect the privacy of his family and friends”.
Mike Portnoy tweeted:
“Just received the shocking news that Riverside guitarist Piotr Grudzinski passed away after attending last nights Winery Dogs show in Warsaw”.
