A self-proclaimed mystery, frontman Connor Garritty said it best when he answered the question, “How would you describe the band?” He stated that each person finds their own description by how the music makes them feel, be it invigorated, angry, inspired or overwhelmed… each will find that All Hail The Yeti will make them feel, regardless of what that feeling is.

On April 5th, when the band fired up the guitars, the crowd, packed to full capacity at West Hollywood’s world famous Viper Room was already chanting the band’s name with fervor. For a band that clearly stated they have turned their back on Hollywood to make their fame happen their own way, Hollywood was certainly waiting for them to return to town to perform. With giant animal skulls attached to their mic stands, an assaulting array of flashing lights and a deep swell of low end that shook the foundation down to the sidewalk the venue stood upon – All Hail The Yeti exploded from the stage and brought the fanatics to a raging frenzy at their feet. Yes, they inadvertently started a mosh pit.

The AFM-Records band sprung onto the social network with their 2011 released EP, offering a brutal edge of extreme rock and roll that satisfied the public cry for crushing metal in a new form. The band didn’t reinvent the wheel, but they spun that bitch out of control, garnering an immediate fan base that rapidly spread around the globe. Offering much more than just hate spewed blunt metal, the band raises spirits with lyrical content that amuses, as well as enthuses the listener, avoiding the common angry and aggressive down side of a brutal metal industry style and playing from the heart as well as the gut. It’s a kind of Southern Metal that comes from crocodile swamps, bar room brawls and good old American boot stomping, with a touch of heartbreak and a dark demon hiding in the woods, ready to meet and eat your soul. Not sure you can understand that? Then here’s what you can do.

In August 2012, the band featured the new single and video off their self-titled debut full length CD release with the song “The Art of Mourning”. What followed was a well received 11 song CD that offers an audible escape from the daily grind and a journey through a horror-scape of groove and rhythm that pushes the gas pedal down, raises ones heartbeat and literally makes you want to scream along. With an astounding 12 page printed CD booklet and world wide distribution, it’s the next CD ready to kick it’s way into your collection.
