Summer days & old stuff online...

Grande Rock logoAs summer is here for good and days are getting hotter & hotter… what’s better than a cold beer along with a great rock/metal album. Listening to your beloved music while gazing at the sea and breathing the fresh air of nature is ideal… even if there’s no sea at all… “one more beer & heavy metal and I’m just fine” as Manowar used to say, huh?!

We have many requests and our search engine is on fire by people who are looking for reviews and interviews that we had done back in the day and are still online at the “old grande-rock” site. It’s a very painful and time consuming thing to accomplish but since things are different now and the new site has a database it is better to start moving some things over the new server.

As you have already noticed, we have started removing the Best albums of each month since 2002, the interviews (we do have some exceptional interviews back in the day) and then we will deal with the other categories as well. This can’t be done in a week, or a month… it needs much time but if we manage to complete it, then it will be better for everyone as the new site is SEO friendly; something that we didn’t know when we were dealing with websites back then. Just be a little patient…

PS: How can some bands have such an arrogant behavior when they only have released an EP or a full-length album from their “home studio”! Do they think they have already become Rock-Stars cuz’ they “managed” to f@ck the slutty groupie next door?! Shit dudes! This kind of behavior is gonna take you nowhere… we’ve seen the same old thing far too many times… get your shit together if you wanna make things happen.

PS2: Every day or so we are uploading various albums & interviews from the past, so do keep an eye on them. A few interviews that will be published haven’t been published before; not on Grande Rock nor anywhere else as we have kept ‘em “locked” for a very long time.

PS3: This month’s editorial is dedicated to the great bassist, songwriter & vocalist Trevor Bolder from Uriah Heep and Spiders from Mars. Who can forget tunes like “Sympathy”, “Come Back to Me”, “Free Me” and so on. Thank you so much for the Music… Rest in Peace…
