Auspiciously, winter is over and spring is on the way. What a great time… especially when summer is nearby. Musically, two months have passed since the beginning of 2014 and there are numerous very good releases on the market. Specifically, February was the month with the most and best releases. March is coming in full force as well.As you have seen we presented our first video-interview a few days ago, another one is on the works and in general we will try to conduct more video-interviews in the future. At first, we will only present Greek bands, the reasons are obvious, but we hope to expand as soon as we can.
Generally, we’re planning various things in order to add a bit more variety to our daily themes. We also cover some UK live shows and conduct interviews too. UK is a big country where rock/metal music is always on top of the news. Germany is the same as well but we haven’t made an opening there. I guess it’s a matter of time to find some German correspondents.
PS: We shall continue expressing our true & honest opinions about bands, albums, live shows etc. even if that does not appeal to some “media & label” guys who are used to being “sucked” by everyone that deals with rock/metal music. Isn’t it good to have a handful of actually independent & free voices around huh?!!
PS2: There are so many live shows & festivals to be covered in Europe. We already have a few guys in the UK. We’re looking for rock/metal dedicated guys from Germany and other European countries too. I think everyone would enjoy attending live shows and interview their beloved artists/bands… so get on it.
PS3: This month’s editorial is dedicated to Hittman’s bassist Mike Buccel who left suddenly in a car accident a few months ago. Hittman offered us two great power metal albums back in the 80s & early 90s. We shall present the band’s debut in the near future. Rest In Peace Mike…
