Hailing from California, U.S., the esoteric techincal death metallers Decrepit Birth are set to release their first new album in seven years, “Axis Mundi”, on July 21st, 2017, via Agonia Records (Europe / ROW) and Nuclear Blast Records (North America).

Forward-thinking, unorthodox New Zealand death metal trio Ulcerate return with their latest masterwork “Shrines of Paralysis”, a flawless continuation of the band’s signature sonic philosophy.

“Shrines of Paralysis” spans eight tracks of singular death metal, incorporating a wider range of styles and ideas than ever before. Influences both within and beyond metal abound: organic, inventive phrasings and novel compositional techniques round out a thundering package of death, doom, and black metal stylings. As is characteristic of the band, “Shrines of Paralysis” is about much more than just the music.

Active since 2007, Zurich, Switzerland based technical/progressive death metal band Virvum have spent years honing their craft through the release of one-off singles and hundreds of hours of practicing culminating in the refined and elaborate product that is their forthcoming debut full-length album, “Illuminance”, which the band will be self-releasing on September 16th 2016.

The first single from “Illuminance” will debut this upcoming Friday, July 22nd.

Swedish Melodic Death Metallers Scar Symmetry, will embark on a North American headlining tour this September. Joining them are label-mates Arsis along with Shattered Sun and Painted In Exile.

California's technical death metal purveyors Decrepit Birth have signed a European record deal with Agonia Records. The band is currently working on their 4th studio album, whose release date is planned for late 2016.

Decrepit Birth decided to move to Agonia after the expiry of their previous EU deal with Nuclear Blast Records. The latter will continue its work with the band for North American territory.

Divebomb Records has teamed up with Prague-based progressive/tech death metal act, MINDWORK, for the worldwide release of their two albums – "Eterea" and "Into the Swirl".

 

Their latest, "Eterea", is a jazz-infused technical death metal tour de force which will appeal to fans of such classic artists like Atheist, Cynic and Opeth. The new album finds the band introducing more dynamics and melody, vocally speaking, to their compositions while venturing into sonic territories not found on "Into the Swirl". MINDWORK truly are a thinking man's band, pushing forward the boundaries of metal.

 

Irish tech death outfit Dichotomy will release "Paradigms" the band's debut album this August 14th. The album will be available physically as well as for digital download.
