Otherwise

Thanks again for meeting with us to talk about what’s going on in the otherwise world. You’re back with a new album 2 years after “Sleeping Lions”. It seems that you wasted no time at all. Which are those elements that separate your new album from your previous albums?

Blacktop Mojo and Otherwise live in Ashwaubenon, WI, 2019

Kirra came out raw, driven, and ready. Even though it was a small crowd at first, they were still loving these Oklahoma boys. A raw, gritty sound fills the venue with “Pull You Out”, and “Blind”. “Decider” was cool to hear live, after watching their video. Over their set, the guys from Kirra brought the energy needed to start the night out right. A band to check out again for sure.

Otherwise - Defy

“Olderwise”, as Adrian called it in our recent chat at Green Bay Distillery, has evolved and grown into a powerhouse of an anthem, in your face, try to defy band for the ages. They are far from “Older… Just Wiser”. And the album title does just that.

Danko Jones to release new studio album “A Rock Supreme” on April 26th 2019

It’s long been clear that the Canadian hard rock trio Danko Jones lives and breathes – and even sweats and bleeds – rock n’ roll. The group's namesake front man loves to talk about it (check out his long-running “The Official Danko Jones Podcast” for proof); he loves to write about it (as his new book, “I’ve Got Something to Say: 10 Years of Rock and Roll Ramblings”, pointedly captures); and he loves to sing about it, as evidenced by a number of the group’s best-loved songs (“I Gotta Rock”, “Rock Shit Hot”, “Do You Wanna Rock”, etc.).
