German Blackened Death Metal One Man band Black Ground Project has signed with Wormholedeath a licensing deal for the album “Blood & Violence”, which is due for digital release on December 17th, 2021, worldwide.

Wolves In The Throne Room postpone 2021 European Tour to Fall 2022

Venerable Black Metal trailblazers Wolves In The Throne Room have announced that their upcoming European tour will now be postponed until Fall 2022.

The Washington-based trio released their new album, “Primordial Arcana”, on August 20th of this year, via Century Media Records.

In a statement addressing the postponement of their European trek to next year, the band shares:

Einherjer to release new studio album “North Star” on February 26th 2021

Viking Metal pioneers Einherjer will release their eighth studio album, “North Star”, on February 26th, 2021, proving their status as the pioneers of blending Nordic Black Metal and Folk Metal genres to pure Norse Heavy Metal once again.

On “North Star”, the band around singer / guitarist / bassist Frode Glesnes and drummer / keyboarder Gerhard Storesund adds more modern, mass-appealing facets while staying true to their roots.
 

Primordial announces April 2021 European Headlining Tour

Primordial continue to promote their highly acclaimed latest studio album, “Exile Amongst the Ruins”, which was released worldwide, via Metal Blade Records, in 2018.

The band will therefore be embarking on a next, re-scheduled third leg of the “Heathen Crusade” across Europe in April and have furthermore confirmed various international festival appearances for 2021, also in celebration of Primordial’s 30th Anniversary since inception in 1991. Aherusia - Nostos ~ An Answer (?)

I was never, much of a fan of Aherusia’s first couple of albums, considering them to be a neat, if not a little more artistic, version of Rotting Christ, a band I was never too big on, with the exception of a couple of albums, due to their poor English enunciation. This however totally changed around, when the former released their third album, “Prometheus”, an ambitious concept album, which decides to modernize and give its own interpretation to the Promethean myth.
