Death SS - Rock ‘n’ Roll Armageddon

Death SS deserve of recognition simply due to the fact that in the face of adversity their output extends over some five decades (they started way back in 1977), even if during recent times they’ve been largely laying dormant, with the occasional legacy release, popping up from time to time and post millennial albums occurring every four to five years that extended to some seven between the “7th Seal” and “Resurrection”.

Ash Of Ashes release new video for “Down the White Waters”

At the end of the year of the album release, Ash Of Ashes have created a very special treat for their fans.

A music video for the title song “Down the White Waters”, which in less than three months could reach the absolutely remarkable number of 90.000 Spotify plays for a newcomer!

The epic metal song has thus received the appropriate and mood-appropriate images, and was produced by the band themselves with the help of friends.

Mind Key signs with Frontiers Music Srl and announces new album “MK III - Aliens in Wonderland”

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of Mind Key, whose new album “MK III - Aliens in Wonderland” is planned for release in 2019.

Mind Key is a progressive metal band formed in Napoli, Italy in 1999 by Dario De Cicco (keyboards) and Emanuele Colella (guitars). The two wanted to create a band that melded the sound of bands like Dream Theater, Symphony X, Evergrey, and Pain of Salvation with a songwriting approach inspired by '80/'90s hard rock style.

Sirenia live in London 2018

With three supporting acts, the small room was pretty packed before Sirenia hit the stage, with cheers ringing out at their first step onto the stage. Since the delectable Emmanuelle joined the band in 2016, they have developed the depth of their songs. Adding in layers of new elements and sounds, whilst bringing back components and their mind-set from their earlier days with Nightwish. Which struck a chord with me personally, as Nightwish were the first band that got me hooked on symphonic power metal.

Castle - Deal Thy Fate

Eerily disturbing Southern elements, not to mention scary political developments, have driven me to seek refuge, as well as solace, in all manner of throttling and hauntingly melodic fare; namely, the sly, old boogeyman man commonly known nowadays as “heavy psych” rock, or, perhaps more fitfully, “psychedelic doom” metal.

Ghost Ship Octavius

Hi Matt. First of all, congratulations on your self-titled debut album. It came out of nowhere and took us all by surprise! Kudos!

M: Thank you so much! We have been working on it for a long time so it’s really nice to finally have it out there.

Do tell me… when did Ghost Ship Octavius take shape and which were the music kinds that you wanted to combine with this new band?
