Help! For Japan
Avenue Of Allies
2012
“Help! For Japan” is an EP released by the German label Avenue of Allies in order to help the victims of the Japanese earthquake by donating all the incomes to the Japanese Red Cross. What a brilliant act for help… and no other song than “Help!” from The Beatles would have been more appropriate.

So, Tommy Heart has delivered a very beautiful version of the song… and that’s not only… he invited some of the best vocalists and guitarists in the rock/metal scene and everyone has added their personal vibe on the cover making… simply awesome.  Who is who here?… take a deep breath and read: Don Airey (Deep Purple), Tommy Heart (Fair Warning, Soul Doctor), Leo Leoni (Gotthard) Neil Murray, Hena Habegger (Gotthard), Andi Deris (Helloween), Bob Catley (Magnum), Tobias Sammet (Edguy), Carsten “Lizard” Schulz (Evidence One, Frozen Rain), Bernhard Weiss (Axxis), Marc Storace (Krokus), David Readman (Pink Cream 69), Torstein Flakne (Stage Dolls), Claus Lessman (Bonfire), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Tony Mills (ex-TNT), Oliver Hartmann (Hartmann, J.R. Blackmore, ex-At Vance), Michael Kiske (Unisonic, ex-Helloween, Place Vendome), Helge Engelke (Fair Warning, Dreamtide), Kyoji Yamamoto (Bowwow), Roland Grapow (Masterplan, ex-Helloween), Henny Wolter (Nitrogods), Cede Dupont (Downspirit, Symphorce) and Robert R. Rodrigo (Airless).

This project will surely bring R.J. Dio’s “Stars” on your mind back in the 80s… and you will be totally taken away by the performances. The EP was produced and mixed by Tommy Heart, Rene Schostak and Tommy Remm and mastered by TMM/Tom Muller Berlin/Germany. The result is stunning by any means. The solo guitar arrangement on the “Guitar Version” of the song was made by Helge Engelke. There is not more to say here… when we talk about humans… and we all ought to help each other on hard times… if we want to make this world a better place. “Like” them on the Facebook page and get this EP…
