Myland is a new band project that comes from Italy and was formed by the drummer Paolo Morbini (ex Eva, Exillia, Brunorock) along with the bothers Stefano (keys) and Marco Andreasi (guitar), Adalberto Rizzoli (bass) and the singer Guido Priori. After having proved their love to melodic rock/AOR scene and giving several live shows throughout Italy for years covering their beloved songs, they decided to record their own material… and the result is “No Man’s Land”. The band has mixed elements from both the American and the European melodic rock scene and is presenting here its musical proposition.

The songwriting on this album is OK and very influenced by Journey and Foreigner. My beloved song of the album is the mid-tempo “How Much Love”, which is a very sensational melodic rock ballad! The guests appearances on this album are guitarist Kee Marcello (ex-Europe, Easy Action), swedish guitarist Tommy Denander (Chicago, Toto, Richard Marx, Paul Stanley, Radioactive etc.), key’s master Alex Del Vecchio (Edge of Forever, Glenn Hughes), the italian metal hero guitarist Steve Angarthal (Fire Trails) and the singer Lia Kant. The album also was mixed by Marco Barusso at Massive Studios in Milan and mastered by Kee Marcello studio in Sweden. If you like melodic rock/AOR music, then give them a chance… and listen to this Italian band.
