Just imagine for a while… that this very young Finnish heavy/thrash metal band wasn’t on Nuclear Blast. Who would have been aware of them and who would spend their time dealing with them no more than they deserve to? The answer is very easy huh?!
Lost Society belong to the NWOTM movement of our time and they do suffer from the same “childhood diseases” as all of those new thrash band. Well, I think that the younger the band is the worse the case is but what the heck!
I won’t call this generic nor overdone for it’s not… it’s way worse and unoriginal to the core. It’s just like listening to a band covering their beloved 80s thrash bands. They have “plagiarized” acts such as: Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Motorhead, Exodus, Antrax and the list goes on. Nothing is worth mentioning here apart from the great production which was done by Nino Laurenne (Amorphis, Ensiferum, Lordi, etc.).
Certainly this album is not worth your time cuz’ there’s nothing “original” neither “creative” about it. If you have never heard of thrash metal before then start buying some albums by the aforementioned bands… if you already own them then stop reading this and go read something more interesting. Wish I could take those 43 wasted minutes back. Stop being a bunch of copycats and play some f@ckin’ music… then again if you can’t, better stay in college or get a day job now…
