Tate’s Queensrÿche features Geoff Tate along with guitarist Kelly Gray, keyboardist Randy Gane, guitarist Robert Sarzo (Quiet riot, Hurricane), bassist Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, Dio etc.) and drummer Simon Wright (AC/DC, DIO, Rhino Bucket).
The band’s album “Frequency Unknown” was released in April 2013 and met with a generally mixed to negative reception from fans and critics alike.
The album sold 5,512 copies in its first week of release in the United States, and reached No. 82 on the Billboard 200 chart. By comparison, Queensrÿche’s album "Dedicated to Chaos" sold around 8,000 copies.
