Following the group's debut album, “Elements of Warfare”, in 2013, it has been pretty quiet from the Mindtech camp.
The reason mainly because there has been no lead singer in the ranks, until now! With the fantastic voice of new singer Mathias Molound Indergård, the boys are ready for the next phase of Mindtech history. A new musical territory has opened up with such a versatile singer, and new songs is more melodic, and more dynamic than previous music from the band.
First taste was the single “Lost in a Dream” released last September, and now their 2nd single “Black Heart”. Get “Black Heart” here & watch the video below.
On February 12th, they will finally release a digital EP, “Edge of the World”, with 5 fantastic and melodic songs. It will feature guest spots by keyboard players Lasse Finbråten (Circus Maximus) and Yoav Efron (Distorted Harmony), and bass player Linus Abrahamson (Andromeda). Mixed by Ken Ingwersen and mastered by Björn Engelmann at Cuttingroom.
Mindtech did a small Norwegian tour fall 2015, supporting Triosphere. And 2016 is starting out great in that regard too.
Live dates 2016:
January 23rd Gamla Oslo w/Triosphere & Fatal Impact
January 29th Ludo Bar & Scene Harstad w/Triosphere
January 30th Driv-Isbjørn Scene Tromsø w/Triosphere
April 23rd St.Croix Fredrikstad w/Triosphere & Mecalimb
More dates to be added soon.
