Legendary US thrashers, Flotsam And Jetsam, currently on tour in Europe, has announced the first batch of dates for a year-end headliner continuing the Touring The Forbidden Territories Tour 2016/17.
The band is supporting their critically acclaimed self-titled album (check the album review here), released last May on AFM Records, which is already destined for many as one of the top metal albums of the year.
Joining Flotsam on the run will be old and new friends in the form of Texas’ old-schoolers Helstar (that released “Vampiro” on EMP) and Bay Area thrash metal upstarts Hatchet.
“After a few missed attempts this year due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we can finally announce some dates around the country”, states drummer Jason Bittner. “We are very excited to get out with this package and Thrash through the United States, playing material from our new album, fan favorites, as well as celebrating the 30 year anniversary of the "Doomsday for the Deceiver" album”.
James Rivera says: “So as the world turns. Here you go my friends. The kind of tour I have been waiting for a life time for! Funny thing is it couldn't get any closer to home since I once filled in and sang with Flotsam myself. Wow! This is going to be one hell of a full on metal show. So for all of you who are into the real shit! This is the tour you do not want to miss! "Vampiro" is very happy and looking forward to transforming as many souls possible!!!”...
