Modern Metal rockers, Angel Nation make their first new release in over 2 years with Rock anthem “Do It Anyway”, as a special edition digipack CD available from Nuclear Blast Records and in digital formats.
The single was mixed and mastered by Rock producer extraodinaires, Jay Ruston & Paul Logus (Anthrax, Steel Panther). The single also features previously unreleased track “Devil's Voice Inside” and a live version of “Never Ending” from the debut LP “Tears of Lust”.
Get the new single from Nuclear Blast eshop, iTunes & Spotify.
Angel Nation was created in 2011, in London by Finnish singer Elina Siirala, with a passion for songwriting and self expression in the realm of Rock & Metal, originally under the name EnkeliNation (Angel Nation in Finnish). The band has shared stages with the likes of Megadeth, Lacuna Coil and Van Canto, as well as headlining shows in both the UK and Finland.
The band's 2014 debut “Tears of Lust” was met with critical acclaim across the board. The 2016 single “Do It Anyway” is the first release from the, as yet untitled, follow up album and continues the bands unique blend of retro and modern Rock/Metal sounds.
The band stated about the new single:
“We have a lyric video for our new track "Do It Anyway"! It is our first release under the name Angel Nation. It is an exciting yet scary time for us. Trying a new(ish) name, a new sound and having bit of a wacky video comes with some risks. We didn't want to simply make "Tears of Lust" part 2 or copy what other bands are doing because it's popular. We wanted to honestly express ourselves and where we are with our lives now. By doing this, we realize that we risk losing whatever fans we worked so hard to gain in the first place, but sometimes you just have to "Do It Anyway". It really is the band motto! We hope you will continue to follow us in this new Angel Nation chapter of the band, but if not, thank you for being there for the EnkElination chapter of this band”.
Line-up:
Elina - Vocals/keys
Julia B Cadau - Bass
Lucas - Drums
Shadow - Guitars
