Regarding "Conjuring the Cull", Misery Index comment: “This is the fourth part of "Faust", a single fifteen and a half minute song comprising the first five tracks of "The Killing Gods". We are proud to demolish your ear drums with this pummeling taste of our new record”.
“The Killing Gods” will be released as a limited Digibox including the CD in jewel case with slipcase (alternative artwork) and a Ministry cover song as bonus track, a metal pin, a printed patch, and three vinyl stickers. It will also be available on white double LP in gatefold sleeve limited to 400 copies, golden double LP in gatefold sleeve limited to 200 copies, regular black double LP in gatefold sleeve, jewel case CD, and various merch items. All formats can be pre-ordered on Season of Mist’s e-shop.
“The Killing Gods” was recorded at Wright Way Studios in Baltimore, Maryland and engineered by Steve Wright (Dying Fetus, Slipknot, Soilwork). The drum parts were tracked with Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Black Task, Brutal Truth) at Visceral Sound in Bethesda, MD.
