Rockshots Music Management is proud to announce MaterDea! The Italian Folk/Pagan Metal band is looking for releasing their new album called "A Rose For Egeria" via Midsummer's Eve on 1st May 2014.

The third album of the Italian band is marked out by a new musical expression and a more powerful sound rich of technical refinements although maintaining the flourished melodies for which MaterDea’s audience is used to be known. The album has been mixed by Marco Strega at Domus de Janas Studio and mastered at Finnvox Studios by Mika Jussila.

“Per Grazia di Tenebra, fluido diamante. Egeria”.

This is the prelude to the new mystic and veiled world of MaterDea, a path opening up in the middle of twilights and dawns, myth and legends, radiant grace and the oblivion of darkness.

MaterDea is all of that: a new and at the same time ancient music that has the power to rouse sleeping souls. A journey that, once you get it, suddenly could make you loose the wish to go back where everything started. Such melodies will make you stray and find yourself made out of mist, floating lightly above the brambles as the title of their first album suggests. The alchemy between the members of the band is not ordinary: take a chance to listen to the lunar voice of the lead singer, the peculiar sounds produced by the hands of these strange human beings will carry you in a surreal dimension that brings you straight into the Great Mother’s arms. This is MaterDea.
