When and how did you decide to get involved with fire performances and also model?
V: I started around 2006 and I’d say it was a bit by accident really. I used to go out in venues and at gigs that might have featured “fire performers” from abroad as well as a variety of “fetish” acts and the whole spectacle, both appealed and seemed interesting at the same time, so little by little, I amassed the equipment necessary, experimented and slowly but surely built up a show that at times worked as a duo ie “The Fire Queens” or at times was solo gigs. The whole thing looked both glamorous but with the right amount of excitement The whole modeling aspect, well because of the rather good looks, I was asked to do some lingerie catalogs, so I did work for a brief time as a model, but I concentrate mostly on the “performance” aspect these days… I might still do the occasional shoot for promotional purposes – of my performances.
How difficult is performing with fire? Have you ever gotten yourself burned as a result of your performances?
V: It takes a certain mindset and it’s not exactly the easiest thing to do, or anyone would do it. I did have some mishaps and got burnt, nothing too serious – mostly the lower part of my hands, but after years of practice I hardly feel any pain. You build up a higher pain threshold and it becomes a non-issue. Sometimes fire breathing and the like can be a bit more dangerous, if you’re not concentrated and if you are sensitive to the fuels used. It’s not exactly for the faint of heart, but the result is so captivating that makes all the efforts worth it.
What’s the sexiest part on you?
V: I’d say you know, the whole package is “hot”, going to the gym pays off, but I think that my eyes and the “looks” I can give are one of the most alluring/sexy things on me…
What’s your erotic fetish?
V: Well I like things that are not cliché, I need a certain amount of adventure and I suppose this might be as cliché as they come but I suppose I don’t mind wearing nothing but extremely high heels when (you know)…
Which was the smartest and dullest pick-up line a guy has used to approach you?
V: Well do they still use those? Do they work? I mean, I’ve probably heard all of them and 99,9% are either lame or going to get you nowhere fast, try acting like yourself might be a better tactic. You know and the typical “Greek Lover” ones; they are bordering on comedy sometimes, instead of making you feel attraction, they make you laugh… but not with them but rather at the guys using them. Every once in a blue moon, you might get a genuinely funny one or applicable to a situation but nothing really as drastic as to make me swoon and fall for a man.
Which one of the Seven Deadly Sins you consider yourself to be?
V: Vanity, wouldn’t you guess? (Others gave it to me) I seek perfection…
Apart from “Miss Vanity” you’re also known as “Veronica Scandale” how did you get that nickname?
V: Well I was trying to make a page as Miss Vanity and there were both other people using it but I also hit a brick wall with the perquisite to use a real name, so this one worked. And sort of stuck mainly for the local (Athenian Gigs), I’m happy to use both.
Forgive & forget or revenge & regret??
V: Maybe a few years ago, up to when I was 24 or 25, I’d obsess and lose sleep over people acting in selfish or asshole ways, but since then I sort of prefer to shut them out of my life… I want to be treated as I would treat others so…
Who is your beloved Porn Star (man or woman)?
V: Rubber Doll who’s an American soft/lez/fetish performer, I quite like. She’s not like a real porn star, but I find her costumes/wardrobe amazing and she has some pretty good looks, and her performances are just so alluring that I can’t help but feel hot…
If you could only ever sleep with one Rock Star, who would you choose?
V: 30 years ago or so, although it might have been difficult to do that (cause I’d be unborn), I’d say a young Ozzy… I do like Sabbath a lot, but I don’t really connect the music with the looks, not really. I suppose the Sabbath guys would have an extra appeal, but I’d never just be a groupie, I’d just feel very flattered if someone was hitting on me and I might have given in, but that’s hypothetical so… I do like “rock” types in general, but it has to be a combination of looks, being smart etc…
What’s the best city/country you’ve ever been to and why?
V: I’ve done shows abroad and all over Greece and I think every place has its own “special” vibe and possibly its natural vistas… hmm if I had to think hard, I did like the Pozar Springs, close to Eddesa, it has some marvelous waterfalls, the nature is wild and beautiful all around and you can go to spas and even private spas, which you can use all on your own… I had a pretty good time and liked the place a lot, but it’s mostly about having the right company and a good time out of any situation.
Which is your beloved song and why?
V: Pfffff… the one million dollar question… it changes frequently – but an all-time favorite would have to be “In Your Room” by Depeche Mode just the first thing it came in my mind really… I like them as a band a lot, but what I listen to varies greatly depending on my mood and if it’s something I need to perform to or I’m just listening for enjoyment…
