The Haunted after a couple of albums that were pretty strong and Slayer influenced early on, while they were still in Earache and fronted by a drama queen vocalist, took a turn for the better and the worse, with their promotion to Century Media’s roster and at the same time the introduction of the much more workmanlike Marco Aro.

The Haunted announces new studio album “Strength in Numbers” - due out in late August 2017

After finishing strong of tour dates with Meshuggah in the UK and Arch Enemy in Central Europe, Swedish Thrash Metallers The Haunted have been busy these last weeks with the recording and mixing process of their upcoming, 9th studio album effort.

Recorded at Parlour Studios in the UK with producer Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, The Exploited), the album is entitled “Strength in Numbers” and will be released worldwide via Century Media Records on August 25th, 2017.

The Haunted announces Scandinavian Tour 2017

After finishing a successful UK tour together with Meshuggah, Swedish Thrash Metallers The Haunted are soon to commence recordings for their newest, 9th studio album effort, which is expected to be released worldwide by Century Media Records later in 2017.

Mosh Pit Justice - Stop Believing Lies

Mosh Pit Justice is a Bulgarian trio from Bourgas, consisting of bassist/songwriter Mariyan Georgiev, Staffa on guitars/drums and George “Peich” on vocals. The band has been going on for only 4 years, but has wasted no time releasing an EP and two albums so far – a kickstarter campaign and some time later they are releasing their third album “Stop Believing Lies” through Witches Brew records, this year.

The Haunted re-signs with Century Media Records & announces UK & European tour dates for 2017

With work underway for a new studio album release in 2017, Swedish Thrash Metallers The Haunted have extended their long-standing co-operation with Century Media Records by signing a new worldwide deal with the label.

Additionally, several new tour dates with Meshuggah in the UK & Ireland in January as well as with label-mates Arch Enemy and Lacuna Coil in Central Europe in March/April have recently been announced.

The Haunted checked in with the following comment: “We are very pleased to announce that The Haunted has re-signed with CMR, expecting a new album in 2017. Right now we're in pre-production mode and the material we have now sounds really heavy and thrashing”.
