Joe Cocker - Fire It Up

The white man with the black voice… that’s how they called Joe back in the day. Undoubtedly, his unique blues voice can be described only with the above-mentioned phrase. Joe is a gifted vocalist in any way. Since his Woodstock days, one could tell that this guy had a bright future ahead of him.

Jeff Lynne - Long Wave

What the hell is that? Somebody must be joking here… for if he does then it’s OK by me… but if they indeed sell this album to the fans then they surely doesn’t respect them at all.

I’m quite sure that the fans, weren’t expecting from Jeff to come back with a bland album of 50s/60s classics that lasts about 27 minutes! What a waste of time this one is! I still cannot understand why somebody will go that way. It’s easy to record some cover songs and go on… especially if you do not have any new material but what’s the point ofthat? Just, to show that you’re here, alive again & ready to do what?!

Captain Beefheart - rare TV performances on DVD

Don Van Vliet, (1941-2010) better known to his legions of fans as ‘Captain Beefheart’ was one of the most enigmatic figures in rock music. Unashamedly an artist, rather than a pop star, he forged his own idiosyncratic furrow through popular culture, producing some of the most innovative and uncompromising music ever committed to recording tape. From the age of three he painted and sculpted, and had an obsession with animals and the natural world.
