Battle Metal masters Turisas have just announced heavy touring in the winter. Before heading out on an extensive tour with their labelmates in Barren Earth throughout their native Finland in November and December the Warlords will soak up some sun during their tour in Latin America in October.

It will be their triumphant return after a highly successful Latin American tour in 2013.

Following the release of last year’s highly acclaimed and critically hailed live DVD/Blu-ray "Dying Alive", German thrash metal giants Kreator now announce a tour for November/December 2014, leading the true "hordes of chaos" throughout Europe as headliners, and with them a real high class selection of bands.

 

Joining Kreator for the upcoming live shenanigans are Polish label mates Vader, Swedish death metal masters Arch Enemy and German thrash veterans Sodom.

 

It takes a legend to bring a myth back to life. A unique treat for music fans worldwide, Steve Hackett’s critically acclaimed live production "Genesis Revisited" has so far triumphed in Europe, Japan and North America alike and is still going strong; on May 10th it celebrated its success at a sold out London’s Hammersmith Apollo with an ecstatic audience. "Genesis Revisited – Live at Hammersmith" - a unique performance with guests including Nik Kershaw, John Wetton, Jakko Jakszyk and Steve Rothery - will be released on October 21st. The 3CD+2DVD (with 5.1) box set, coincides with the return of Hackett’s Genesis Revisited Tour to the UK & Europe for a second round due to popular demand.

This September, Xanden Concerts and Terrorizer Magazine will present Martin Walkyier's Viking Funeral; a string of shows that marks the final time Walkyier will perform classic SKYCLAD material live in the UK. 

 

UK-based dirty rock n' roll trio GRIFTER have announced a string of live dates leading up to their appearance at this year's Bloodstock Metal Festival. 

 

The Ripple Music recording artists will be performing on Sunday, August 11th, the same day as Slayer, Anthrax, Gamma Bomb, Exodus, Devil Driver and Amorphis.  Specifically, the boys will be taking the stage to support legendary metallers Wolfsbane, as well as Breed 77 and Gormathon!

 

NWOBHM legends PRAYING MANTIS announce that they have joined forces with Dutch duo, Vocalist John “Jaycee” Cuijpers (Ayreon, Cooper Inc., C.T.P.) and drummer Hans in ‘t Zandt (Vengeance, Bangalore Choir, Mad Max, Chinawhite). These new members will be featuring on the forthcoming live shows.

 

John and Hans are seasoned professional musicians with a vast experience of playing alongside bands such as Toto, Vengeance, Jan Akkerman, and Steve Lukather and will bring a extra dimension to the Mantis sound.
