Nektar announces Fall 2021 US Headlining Tour

For more than 50 years, Nektar has taken legions of fans on audio-visual journeys to far reaches of the universe and the depths of the ocean with their immersive blend of sight and sound. These prog-rock pioneers have been champing at the bit to get back on the road and are excited to announce they will tour America’s Northeast and Midwest this autumn, with many more dates scheduled through Spring 2022.

Nektar - The Other Side

Well, Nektar used to be a band of British musicians who lived and performed in Germany, back in the day and they have always been a very important in prog rock circles, earning a top of respect, (with lots of famous people being their fans – Steve Harris and Frank Zappa among them) that didn’t quite translate to the commercial breakthrough that some of their peers achieved, back in the day.

Hi Frank, I’m glad we’re given the chance to talk about Eloy’s new release. Well, part 2 of “The Vision the Sword and the Pyre” completes the work, you’ve wanted to release for quite a long time. How did the process of this album differ in relation to the first, if at all and how do you feel now that it’s done?

faUSt announces July 2018 North American Tour

German Krautrock legends faUSt will be embarking on their Vagabondages in North America tour in July 2018!

faUSt is an experimental rock band which came out of the Hamburg music scene in the late sixties. Formed in Wümme in 1971, faUSt were the first band to have the term “krautrock” applied to their music, and to the genre that ensued.

German for “fist”, and also the protagonist of Goethe's eponymous play, faUSt were one of the first bands to use the recording studio as an instrument. Their live appearances were explosive (literally), as the pinball machines and jack-hammer legends detail.

Hi Frank, it’s an honor to have you on Grande Rock. First of all, congrats on your new album, The Vision the Sword and the Pyre… it’s exceptional on the whole.

F: Thank you very much for your appreciation.

Well, it’s been about 8 years since the band’s previous studio album. What happened all this time and why did it take you so long to release a new album?
