August 27th, 2021, will see Ukrainian psych and garage rock outfit, Straytones, release their fourth album, entitled “Magic Green River Swimmin’ & Stunning Tarzanka Experience”, via Robustfellow.

When psychedelic rock icons Monster Magnet got off the plane in the USA after their Powertrip tour of Europe in February 2020, they already realized that they’d dodged a bullet. The band members were all healthy, despite having spent the last week of the month-long excursion gigging overseas, and at that point, many of those countries were in total lockdown. Part two of that tour, North America, was scheduled to begin three weeks later, but the rest is history… no live music, anywhere.

Formed in 2012, Locean found its collective feet through a shared passion for genre apocalypse; live improvisation, raucous live shows and sonic exorcism.
 
Signed in 2019 to the Houston-based label Artificial Head Records (Baby Birds, Funeral Horse and Terminal Cheesecake) for the release of their exquisite debut album, “Chav Anglais”, the experimental Mancunians return this December with their most exploratory recordings yet; “Top Ten Zen Meditations”.

Mother Island is a surreal, whimsical and lunatic space where five musicians resurface their primary and dawning influences, truly “A Magic Theatre, For Madmen Only”.

With a love for Italian movies of the 60s and a deeply surf-oriented flair, “Motel Rooms”, the brand new upcoming full length record by Vicenza’s psych rockers Mother Island, will make people move their feet!

Electrifying Swedish power-trio Åskväder makes thunder and lightning through rock music. Well balanced seasoning to the sound of the 90s Scandinavian rock scene mixed up with smoking hot riffs drenched in bluesy licks and catchy refrains. Adding thundering drum and bass groove with a topping consisting of elaborate vocal harmonies Åskväder is Swedish and can be translated into “Thunderstorm”. That says it all. No fuss, just straight Rock ‘n Roll.
 

Swedish quintet The Goners have set to release their debut album “Good Mourning” on March 13th, 2020, via RidingEasy Records.

This is something new:

British indie-rock outfit Beat Hotel has announced that they will be releasing their new eponymous mini-album via Occulation Recordings in the new year.

Ahead of that, they are previewing their first single “Feel It”, an upbeat and notably positive song and their first composition in a long time. This is the first taste of the new 6-track offering.
