Orphaned Land announces new side project Kna’an and Fall 2016 European Tour

Kna’an is a project that was born in the head of the Memmingen's Landestheater director - Walter Wayers. Wayers wrote a complete new play with his modern perspective about the familiar biblical story of Abraham in the land of Kna’an and was looking for someone to fit in writing the soundtrack and songs for this purpose. That's how a co-production between Kobi Farhi (Orphaned Land) and Erez Yohanan (Amaseffer) was born.

Scott Henderson - Vibe Station

Scott Henderson is guitar virtuoso who needs no further introduction. He’s best known for his work with Tribal Tech in the early 80s. Scott is an extremely gifted guitarist who is mostly appreciated by other musicians and especially guitarists, that cannot reach his style so they just admire him.

Orphaned Land announces European Unplugged Tour 2015

Orphaned Land, the leaders of Middle Eastern metal, are happy to announce their European Unplugged Tour 2015.

Singer and frontman Kobi Farhi comments: “Anyone who have seen already an unplugged show of Orphaned Land knows that it's an unforgettable experience. We are super excited to finally have our first ever acoustic tour accompanied by the Stimmgewalt male/female choir. It's always nice to strip our songs with different arrangements and we are eager to go back on the roads! I've waited a long time to take my "Jesus white dress" out of the closet and I guarantee it is going to be a holy musical experience, something to remember. See you all very soon!”

Murat Ilkan

Hello Murat and thanks for doing this interview…

M: Hello, I thank you.

Give us a short intro of who you are, for those who may not be familiar (you know – you can always cut and paste a good chunk of the bio from the website here, haha)

M: Yes there is this autobiography that I wrote, I guess it is enough to tell us the things that we want to know about.

Murat Ilkan - Fanus

The name to Murat Ilkan might not be entirely unknown to the metal connoisseurs amongst the vast crowds of those who profess to be “fans” of the genre, but outside of his native Turkey, I am not entirely sure if the former singer of Pentagram/Merzakabul is exactly a household name.

Nile - European Tour 2013 Part II

The reigning kings of technical, historically-themed brutality, NILE would like to announce Part II of the “At the Gate of Sethu” Europe Tour 2013.

Karl and the guys are looking forward to play some new cities with their friends in Metal Ex Deo (Canada) and Svart Crown (France).

This will be great metal shows for all NILE fans and death/blackmetal fans everywhere.

Sigh - In Somniphobia

Sigh have been around for over 20 years. Although they’re coming from Japan, they managed to overcome all those difficulties that a non-European or US band was facing at the time and become a respectful name in the metal scene. The band’s black metal days have long gone but that does not mean that they lost those extreme metal elements they had since the beginning in any case. It is true that every new album from this band is a surprise… not matter if you dig it or not. I still remember when I listened to “Imaginary Sonicscape” back in 2001… how impressed I was by the band’s creativity and skills. Perhaps, this is the band’s best work up to now.
