October Tide’s Fredrik Norrman (ex-Katatonia), co-founder and guitarist of the Swedish, melodic death metal group, reports that the band has been writing songs for their sixth studio album, follow-up to “Winged Waltz” from 2016, and has booked a studio for the end of November, to start the recording process.

Norrman commented: “We haven’t made much noise about this so far, but we have written a bunch of songs latley. In fact, we have almost a whole album more or less finished”.

Swedish melancholic death doomers October Tide premiere a music video for the song “Reckless Abandon”, taken from their latest album “Winged Waltz”.

October Tide will embark on a tour of Finland in March 2017. The band will also make an appearance at Maryland Deathfest (USA) and Karmøygeddon Metal Festival (Norway) in May.

Acclaimed melodic Doom/Death Metal experts, October Tide, have announced details regarding their forthcoming 5th studio album, titled “Winged Waltz”.

Set to be released on April 22nd, 2016 via Agonia Records, the record will feature eight brand new tracks and cover artwork prepared by Albin Högbom.
