Novembre - Ursa

Ever since the bigger British and Scandi melodic doom bands sort of abandoned their “throne”, the vacancy is being contested by a lot of “heirs” including among others, the Italians Novembre. In all honesty they’ve been going on for quite some time, back from their “Catacomb” days in the early 90s to debuting in 1994, to actually their last album prior to this being almost a decade ago, after which the band didn’t release anything for quite a long time…

Full Nothing - Full Nothing

Full Nothing is an international dark rock/metal project created in 2012 by Nicolas Marcos, Guillermo De Medio and Augusto Amicon. They did employ no less than eight different vocalists some of whom you might recognize and some you might not, people like Mats Leven (Therion, Malmsteen), Edu Falaschi (ex-Angra, Almah), Thomas Vikstrom (Candlemass, Therion etc), Kelly Sundown Carpenter (Outworld, Darkology, Zierler) and many more, at times solo-ing and at times complementing each other in some perfect harmonies etc…

Deathwhite to release “Solitary Martyr” EP on August 14th 2015

A year after the release of their well-received debut “Ethereal” EP, dark metal outfit Deathwhite has returned with the “Solitary Martyr” EP.

The product of increased focus on vocal melodies and hooks, “Solitary Martyr” displays a keener sense of depth and versatility than its predecessor. Recorded by Brette Ciammara at Studio 344, the production is more robust, as are the riffs, retaining a feel and flare akin to the bands that were so crucial inspiring Deathwhite in the first place.

Dunderbeist to release “Hyklere” on March 2nd 2015

The new Dunderbeist album is finally done; it has taken the hard-hitting Norwegian quintet two years of blood, sweat and tears. The result is exceptionally complex in its simplicity, still keeping their snappy hooks and tongue in cheek humor.

The new album “Hyklere” (Eng.: Hypocrites) presents you a ripened Dunderbeist sound, a dive into the darker aspects of life. Brutal and honest, their most personal and greatest work to date! “Hyklere” will be out on March 2nd, 2015.

Autumn’s Dawn - Gone

Autumn’s Dawn are hailing from down under and while they are a newcomer… they can hardly be considered as one since the band consists of two well-known members of the Australian scene.

Sorrow (drums, keys, vox) is no other than Tim Yatras, Germ’s mastermind, who has also participated in various others acts like: Lord, Austere, Dungeon, Grey Waters and so forth. At the time, he is also part of Blackened Angel & Ilium. Anguish (guitar, keys, bass) is Matthew Bell and he is currently playing with Troldhaugen, Bane of Isildur and Rise of Avernus.
