Tom Gee to release new single “Say You Do” on July 31st 2020

Today, Tom Gee announces the release of his new single “Say You Do”, which will be available on all major streaming sites from July 31st, 2020.

“Say You Do” is the first release in six years from the effortlessly brilliant Tom Gee, who has now returned to music after a break to focus on getting married and songwriting.  

“Say You Do” is an accomplished, cleverly written track which is sure to have a wide appeal and will doubtless attract attention for its sophisticated arrangement.

The rainy and miserable weather on the first night made me jokingly think the band should have opened with “It’s Gonna Rain”, but with torrents already pouring down, it might have been a bit of a self-fulfilled prophecy anyway… I ended up driving to the venue early – just to be on the safe side – where I made the acquaintance of some lovely people at the front bar-ier.

Danish multi-instrumentalist Kristian Harting presents his third solo full-length release, “The Fumes”. The artist’s most expansive avant-alternative/folk-inspired material to date, the record is being pressed for January release through his allies at Exile On Mainstream. I was reading a few reviews about this album, and one in particular stuck out. One from a newspaper, you know the 4-5 line ones, where you wonder if the reviewer even bothered listening to the album or just “googled” some and came up with some quote… the album was dismissed as sounding dated… in that case the band and it’s sizable audience must have been happily living out of the hip bubble for ages, but isn’t that what timelessness is?
