This album exceeded my expectations. I was longing (along with a few million others huh?) to see that band back in what they used to do better and to the music that gave ‘em fame & fortune but I just can’t stand how f@ckin’ awesome “Unbreakable” is!

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that “Unbreakable” is the band’s hardest work since their late 80s days! Yeap, it’s been that long since we heard some big guitars and sing-along choruses by the German hard rockers. I won’t say about the total unsuccessful latest attempts. This is what Scorpions is all about… this is exactly what the new generation must know about them. It’s OK if some recognize them by their unique & heartbreakin’ ballads but Scorpions used to rock like crazy and here they are again! I must also refer to the solid & heavy production that was done by Erwin Musper & the band. It’s been a while since I heard such a rock-solid sound from Scorpions.

Just to give you a hint, this album sounds like a crossover of “Love at First Sting”, “Savage Amusement” & “Crazy World”. But what the heck am I talking about…? It’s fresh, it’s heavy it’s catchy & it rocks! Ain’t that enough for you?! Definitely the band won’t leave the ballads lovers unsatisfied as they did deliver two classic ballads once again, “Maybe I Maybe You” & “She Said”. They do sing for the new generation in their first tune so it’s time to let the new rockers learn what this legendary band is capable of. After the band’s classic works then we have “Unbreakable” to be right there waiting… not very far away… Spot on!
