Do you remember Jackyl? These guys came out in the early 90s and were kinda weird but fun… with their groovy hard and heavy, southern tinged rock and their signature tune “The Lumberjack” complete with a “chainsaw” solo!!! Haha…

Apparently they never stopped putting out albums and even almost 25 years and 8 albums in their career they sound pretty much the same, if not a bit “heavier”, due to modern production techniques…

Their latest effort is entitled “ROWYCO” (stands for “Rock Out With Your Cock Out” – as if they didn’t learn from back in the day when “She Loves My Cock [the animal presumably] got them in trouble… hehe). The new album is full of catchy songs with chunky, meaty riffs, like the opener “Disasterpiece”, or the lead of single “Rally” that is obviously a hint to the “Full Throttle Saloon” in Sturgis, South Dakota, a bar that the band’s singer Jesse James Dupree started and it is becoming a mecca for most Motorheads during one of the biggest motorcycle rallies in the world annually. They whole album grabs you by the neck and doesn’t let go till you’ve submitted spirit.

I like this shit a lot!
