One year later and what has really changed? Well, nothing much. I could easily have “copied-pasted” the review I did for their debut here and none would have noticed a thing.
This time the cover artwork is totally blunt. The guys are picking up from where they left off on their debut. Heavy metal songs, with strong 80s doses and a few NWOBHM touches here & there. There’s also a more aggressive attitude overall. Jill is prettier than she sounds & she screams way too much for my liking while not being in the right environment… damn when you listen to “I Wanna Fuck You to Death” it does make you fantasize various nasty things hehe! The production is better than before but it has the same “raw” 80s philosophy but it’s a bit more updated.
The “heard it all before” phrase will keep making circles around your head as long as you listen to this album. Yeap, sorry but we have heard it all before and way better in the past. Nothing new to dig in or fancy here. If you like nasty, wild blonde chicks leading metal bands (like Doro) but without anything interesting musically then do go on… after all it’s all for the pose…
