Enuff Z’nuff
Clowns Lounge

Jeees, I never got Enuff Z’nuff when I first heard them and really I can hardly stomach them, today… probably one of the last few bands to become famous, prior to grunge taking over back in the early 90s, they did enjoy some 15 minutes of fame, while they were signed to a major deal, before disappearing down the sphincter of infamy for the better part of the next decade or so, still releasing albums and touring to little fanfare. Following some TV appearance, they did an album in 2010 and now after again losing Donnie Vie, they still continue with a new lineup with only Chip Z’nuff as the thread to tie it all together as he’s assumed vocals among other things.
“Clowns Lounge”, really is a very basic rock n roll album which hardly reminds you of the EZN albums of lore, mainly due to the different vocals. It’s fair if not only pretty basic song structures, might appeal, but after “Dog On A Bone” and “Runaway” it all goes south fast and sort of repeats over and over …
Old time fans might be divided over it, but it hardly, rocked my world. Not nasty nuff, get it only if it’s on the cheap is where I dwell on this.
