Snake Tongue just released their new EP “No Escape No Excuse”. Check out the lyric video for “The Hammer and the Nail” below.
Snake Tongue reveal their new lyric video “The Hammer and the Nail” made by Claudio Marino (Watain, Ghost) to kick of the physical release and tour in Scandinavia and the Baltics together with Swedish/Estonian crust band Ognemöt. The EP “No Escape No Excuse” following up their debut album “Raptors Breath”. Snake Tongue didn’t spare any brutality on the four track EP “No Escape No Excuse”, a much more raw and crude recording done by Seth Norder (Witchery / Nekrokraft)
Snake Tongue have since the release of the debut album “Raptors Breath” done countless shows, toured Europe and Mexico and shared stages with bands as Massacre68, Doomriders, Coliseum, All Pigs Must Die and more. More dates are now announced. See them, below.
European Tour Dates 2019:
March 21: Stockholm, Sweden at Kafé 44 *
March 22: TBA, Sweden *
March 23: Oslo, Norway *
May 16: Riga, Latvia at Adminu 4 *
May 17: Kaunas, Lithuania at Lemmy Club *
May 18: Tartu, Estonia at Kroks *
May 19: Tallinn,Estonia at Anemon12 *
July 27: Ydre, Sweden at SkogsRÅrocken
* (w/ Ognemöt)
With the “No Escape No Excuse” EP the band wanted to have a more rough and dirty sound than the quite polished debut “Raptors Breath”. They entered the studio with Seth Norder (Witchery, Nekrokraft) as producer to get the right darkness. Again Brad Boatright (Audiosiege) did the mastering. The dark and harsh lyrics of the EP reflects a reality/society in decline, but also calls for action, resistance and reflection.
