Heavy Leather Promotions presents the first Roadkill of 2015, and we’re bringing you three of the city’s dirtiest scuzzy garage bands...
With headliners Sewer Rats
The newest signing to Heavy Leather favourites Fluffer Records, Sewer Rats bring the noise with fast, overdriven blues and stomping beats. Heavy grooves, classic riffs and twisted rock n’ roll.
With special guests Sunlight Service Group
These guys merge the blues with beautiful transcendental psych, dreamy cinematic soundscapes with a touch of doom. Put Black Sabbath and The Doors in a Mexican jail cell together, and hotbox the hell out of it: Sunlight Service Group. Heavy Petal.
And Shark Dentist
Six-stringers with a flair for phaser and dark dark humour. Garage psych with deadpan vocals spinning serial yarns and speedy punk riffs.
With very special guest DJ sets from London based tastemakers Raw Meat.
Roadkill is one of London’s leading garage nights showcasing the best in 60s revival, psych, surf, punk and dirty rock n’ roll. The monthly night hosts three bands and guest DJs spinning vinyl classics ‘till late.
Heavy Leather Promotions has been running live music and club nights in and around North London for the last 3 years to an ever growing fan base, and more recently at the beautiful basement venue of Aces & Eights Saloon Bar, Tufnell Park. We’ve already featured the likes of Loom, Love Buzzard, James Brute, The Cracked Belles, Dedwardians, Dirty White Fever and Voodoo Binmen to name but a few.
See you at the bar.
