Ray Goren will release his new EP “LA Sessions” today June 24th, 2014. The EP was produced by legendary producer Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kiss). The music is a perfect blend of modern alternative rock, infused with blues and pop hooks.
The lyric video for the song “Stop Waiting” can be viewed below.
The video is a powerful statement calling attention to the problem we have with violence today and showing the past that we need to learn from.
Ray Goren is a 14 year old multi instrumentalist and song writer, based in Southern, California. By the age of five, Goren was already playing his favorite tunes by Thelonious Monk, J.J. Johnson, Miles Davis, and Oscar Peterson on a keyboard. A few years later, while searching Youtube, Goren stumbled on a clip of BB King, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy and Albert Collins playing together. Before the day was over, with the Internet at his disposal, Goren discovered many other blues and rock greats including Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Otis Rush. After talking his parents into getting him a guitar, Goren found his calling.
