Odium Records proudly announce the new opus from Mephorash entitled “1557 - Rites of Nullification”.
The album is going to be unleashed at the end of August/ beginning of September.

The album will feature 42 minutes of the most powerful and deeply rooted music we have created so far. The album has been divided into four tracks, to represent each of the elements in it's reversed and negated form. We have been working closely with the occult author G. De Laval (Black Magic Evocations of The Shem Ha Mephorash, The Explicit Name of Lucifer, Sefer Yeroch Ruachot) to manifest his concept of the negated elements.
G. De Laval explains the concept further: “"Rites of Nullification" enumerates and expands a brief passage in the grimoire "Black Magic Evocation of the Shem ha Mephorash" touching upon four Qliphothic anti-worlds which pertain to antagonistic spheres of revolt against the four classical elemental worlds of creation in the traditional Sephiroth. These four anti-worlds, which embody hostile derangement and dissolution of these creative spheres, are elaborated and structured into a full, comprehensive rite by which the practitioner nullifies the ego-universe to return to the primordial chaos preceding these experiential manifestations, which become a prison of cultural ontologies, in the quest for transcendent gnosis. This is effected first through contemplation of a four-dimensional switching matrix as vertices of a mathematical hypercube. Then, through penetration of its mysteries, the descendant constructs four pathways through this continuum wherein travel four serpents of cataclysm - ladders of descent into elemental nullification. Finally, four invocations of these convoluted, atavistic tunnels of descent - which are intoned vocally in the compositions of these hymns - transmute the magician’s ritual identity from the Fool of completion standing at the precipice of a stable ego-universe, to the Devil of post-apocalyptic pandemonium. This no-world beyond worlds has no place and its sparking impossibilities are the anarchy preceding and proceeding form, the eternal yet instantaneous and destabilizing membrane between desire and manifestation where limitless potential reigns perpetually an unthinking, violent, venomous process of effortless and unconscious becoming”.
Each track of the album features additional vocals from the vocalists of Malign, Hetroertzen, Embrace of Thorns and Fides Inversa. You can expect 42 minutes of extraordinary Black Art deeply rooted in the occult pathways.
The album will be released on a deluxe six panel digipack with gold foil stamped seals woven into the artwork and on gatefold vinyl later this year by Odium records. The album will also be available in a die-hard edition, limited to 50 hand numbered copies on cd and vinyl that will be released together with a book written by G. De Laval. The book will process and dig deep in to the concept of the negated elements with around 50 pages of pure occult magic.
