Bleeding Gods, the Dutch metal band featuring former and current members of Altar, Deadcell, Houwitser and Supreme Pain, has inked a deal with Punishment 18 Records.
The group will enter Soundlodge Studio in Rhauderfehn, Gremany in September with producer Jörg Uken to begin recording its debut album for a late November release. The artwork and layout will be designed by Italian master illustrator Marco Hasmann (Fleshgod Apocalypse, Vile).
Bleeding Gods plays groovy, riffing and shredding metal with some thrash and death influences in it. The sound is inspired by bands like Slayer, old Metallica, Lamb of God, Black Sabbath, Opeth and Chimaira.
There's also a last minute line-up change since the bass player Bart Van Wallenberg (Sinister) was replaced by Gea Mulder (Deadcell, Grindminded, Mirdyn).
The band stated:
"Unfortunately Bart has left Bleeding Gods. The decision was made together and there are absolutely no hard feelings to each other. Bart has more time now for his children, family and of course his own band NeoCaesar. We wish him all the luck and the best and ofcourse we want to thank him for all his time, fun, beers and enthusiasm!
In the mean time we want to say hello and a big welcome to Gea Mulder! Gea is known for her basswork in Deadcell, Grindminded and Mirdyn.
She soon will be joining Bleeding Gods live on stage"!
Gea said:
"I'm proud to announce that I'll be joining the awesome and promising Bleeding Gods on bass. I love playing their groovy death metal and look forward to playing live and do the recordings for the upcoming album in September"!
Line-up:

Ramon Ploeg (Houwitser) - Guitar
Erwin Harreman (Supreme Pain) - Guitar
Gea Mulder (Deadcell, Grindminded, Mirdyn) - Bass
