After a 3-year hiatus, the “odd” Norwegian quintet is back with their third, more critical & completed work to date. By eliminating their “extreme” elements to minimum and giving more space to their theatrical, avant-garde, atmospheric, dark, esoteric, progressive, symphonic, gothic, grotesque & carnival side, they came up with “The Tower” which has a very distinct yet melodic & intriguing sound.

Having made their song arrangements more complex and “odder” than before, none can say they have become “mainstream” due to the lack of extremeness. Evolution demands musicians dare and be ready to make major alterations on their music if they don’t like staying still and re-cycling the same things over & over again. Bjørnar Nilsen (vocalist) has delivered the production, while the mixing was done by Herbrand Larsen (Enslaved) & the mastering by the renowned by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Devin Townsend etc.) at Fascination Street Studios. The final result is kinda “animated” & full.

“The Tower” adventure can be described like travelling along with a bizarre, moody, goth, occult, & mysterious metal circus and experiencing as well as facing new challenges on every new place (track) you find yourself as the music flows. Quite an absorbing “place beyond time” to get lost inside… but be careful you always need to be prepared and vigilant of what you are gonna find next. You can reach the top of “The Tower”, only if you be able to dig out the mystical & transcendent “space & time” where the tower’s imagination dwells! You have already taken the first step… now let Vulture Industries show you around…
