Upper Austrian band Sergeant Steel is going to hit Nashville/Tennessee in February 2015. The sextet is coached by none other than legendary producer/ mixer Michael Wagener (Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Queen, Janet Jackson, Alice Cooper etc.)! They are going to work on the sound of the next album in the native German’s studio.
Linz, Austria/ Nashville (Tennessee), USA - Sergeant Steel enter the hallowed studio halls of the American by choice for the second time. Within three weeks the new songs for the third record, which is going to be released by the end of 2015, will be mixed there.
Michael Wagener’s personal comment on the joint project: “I had a lot of fun with these guys in 2012 and I am looking very much forward to working with them again in 2015. Let's make some noise!!!”...
Wagener is responsible for more than 96 million sold records all over the world. Solely in the USA 27 of his album were decorated with gold and (multi-)platinum between 1983 and 2000.
Sergeant Steel’s recent album “Men on a Mission” was released via the band’s own record label Boyz Tyme Records in September 2013. It caused euphoric response by critics, press entitled the six piece as Austria’s hard rockers no. 1. Numerous CD-sellings, downloads and hits at streaming services affirm the growing success of Sergeant Steel.
Sergeant Steel is a hard rock band from Upper Austria and was founded in 2007. The group has released the two albums “Lovers & Maniacs” (2010) and “Men on a Mission” (2013) internationally. Sergeant Steel were support act of Deep Purple on Clam Castle, Upper Austria in 2013 and supported The Sweet twice. Furthermore they produced the official anthem of Austria’s first division hockey team “EHC Black Wings Linz” in cooperation with the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.
