Armed with a forthcoming EP release and promotional UK tour, British alt/garage-rock three-piece Monster Jaw reveal news of their “Basement Sessions” project.
With both their debut EP “Get A Tattoo” and follow up “Losing All My Friends” bringing acclamation from both mainstream and independent rock media, Monster Jaw have boldly set out on a mission to showcase the band in its most purest, un-edited and intimate state, with their first record release of 2015, being self-produced in a home basement.
Taking a back to basics and lo-fi approach to their record production, Mik Davies (Vox/Guitar), Neil Short (Bass/Vox) and John Bradford (Drums) intentionally set out to capture the synergy of the bands live performances using predominately a vintage Tascam 8 track tape recorder and minimal use of modern recording technology.
“Basement Sessions” EP will be out on 30th April 2015.
