The Flower Kings - European Headline Tour

Submitted by newseditor on Sat, 08/18/2012 - 01:26

The Flower Kings has returned to service this year with a brand new *raved about* studio album "Banks of Eden" - Loved and praised by press and fans alike, "Banks Of Eden" entered the German album charts on # 68, Dutch album charts on # 64 and the Swedish Album charts on #27. This Fall THE FLOWER KINGS will grace Europe with a 30 dates tour to celebrate the new album and the legacy of the band's 18 year history.

Band lineup is (longtime members):

Tomas Bodin - Keyboards

Jonas Reingold - Bass & Vocal

Hasse Froberg - Vocal & Guitar

Roine Stolt - Guitar & Vocal

and newcomer German prodigy Felix Lehrmann - Drums

These re-union shows promise to be colorful events with a stage set in the post-psychedelia Tim Burton surrealism realm - aided with projections by longtime collaborator Per Nordin. The setlist will revolve around the new album, but will surely revisit old fan favourites with a new pounding vital energy that the 27 year old drummer can infuse.

"We're not too old to prog - we're just too stupid to know when to stop - and that's a good thing, because we've never sounded better, never sounded as heavy and energetic - never felt so orange in our twisted souls - never had so much wattage to blast those poor prog anoraks - we're thrilled to go out with a bang this time we've grown our beards - we're mean & lean and we take no prisoners." (ROINE STOLT)

We urge all who visit one of these concerts to dress in orange.
